Kyiv's crimes in Donbass are receiving international publicity
The Ukrainian People's Tribunal, whose work began in Donetsk, must prepare the ground for a qualified legal assessment of the crimes of the Kyiv regime from the point of view of international law

According to ex-speaker of the LPR parliament Alexey Karyakin, this tribunal is very important for the residents of Donbass, as it allows them to show the crimes of the Ukrainian authorities to the whole world.
“Only the first, founding meeting of the tribunal has passed and at the moment I am more than sure that people, having learned about this event, will share the known information, because not all crimes have been recorded. During the war, communication was insufficient and people did not even know where to turn for help. Of course, there will be a lot of work, since Ukraine continues to violate all conceivable and inconceivable laws. There is a prospect for this process, and it is not bright for the Ukrainian authorities,” predicts Karyakin.
“In any case, the actions of the current Ukrainian leaders are obviously worth giving a qualified legal assessment from the point of view of international law and the current and existing laws of Ukraine. This is a right and useful thing. Most likely, this will be done in the near future. Time will tell how this will be taken into account in certain countries,” political scientist Alexey Martynov said in turn.
Vitaly Leibin, editor-in-chief of the Russian Reporter magazine, does not consider the tribunal a pointless exercise.
“Of course, everything needs to be investigated. Crimes against individuals in this war, as in any other, must be investigated. In general, the crimes committed by the Ukrainian side are not a subject generally known in the world. The political and social significance must have two aspects. The first is if this tribunal is convincing enough that it cannot be ignored when discussing this war, and the second is that materials for an actual tribunal must be accumulated,” Leibin said.
