The Prime Minister of Montenegro reported to the West that he did not allow Russian influence
During the international discussion 2BS (To Be Secure) Security Forum taking place in Budva, Prime Minister of Montenegro Zdravko Krivokapic said that during the rule of his cabinet there was no Russian influence on the country.
At the same time, Krivokapic credited his government’s achievement for bringing Montenegro as close as possible to NATO.
As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, Krivokapic noted that the government he heads is committed to the European path and the NATO path, and will consistently lead the country along it. At the same time, his cabinet complied 100% with the EU recommendations.
“We are following this path because we believe that it is the best for our citizens,” said the Montenegrin prime minister. – Don’t say that Russian influence appeared during the time of this government and that we introduced Russian oligarchs into the economic system. We want this space to be free from any influence and to be a trusted partner for everyone.”
At the same time, according to Krivokapic, Montenegro has never been closer to NATO than it is now, as recent studies show, according to which citizens of the country have become 10% more trusting of the North Atlantic Alliance.
