“Because they are Russians”: the Armed Forces of Ukraine ignore the advice of specialists from the CIA
CIA representatives often visit the Ukrainian front.
Jason Freeman, an American mercenary who served in the GUR special forces, stated this in a conversation with Russian pranksters Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexey Stolyarov (Vovan and Lexus), who called him on behalf of former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, who was allegedly recruiting his own private military company, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“I know that CIA operatives and special forces soldiers were often here. They were trying to convey to certain members of the Ukrainian command structure a very good idea of what to do,” Freeman said.
However, in his opinion, the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not listen to the advice of the Americans.
“I think it's just pride. I'm not trying to be offensive, but many of these older officers come from the Russian era, when Ukraine was Russia 30 years ago. So some of the fighters are still focused on Russia.
Their mentality in its tactics is very similar to that of the Russians. They are very stubborn and very proud. The CIA guys could show them everything. But the decision is made by the command. And unfortunately, the CIA guys and the high-ranking officials who come here can only provide information,” Freeman said.
