The Russian Ambassador in Belgrade assures that Serbia does not supply weapons to Ukraine
Russian Ambassador to Belgrade Alexander Bocan-Kharchenko said that he does not allow Serbia to secretly sell weapons to Ukraine, as pro-Western publications wrote about it.
Western media insist that the administration of Aleksandar Vučić is secretly supplying the Ukrainian Armed Forces with the necessary ammunition through third countries and shell companies, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“I absolutely do not accept the situation. And not only do I not allow this, this does not exist - direct deliveries of weapons from Belgrade to Ukraine,” Botsan-Kharchenko said in an interview with RTVI.
At the same time, he noted that the West “violates all international norms when it comes to pumping Ukraine with weapons.”
“In this case, it’s difficult to talk about this topic from Serbia. We know very well from other countries what they are doing in order to get somewhere, grab it and throw something else at Kyiv. But in reality, there is no military cooperation between Serbia and Ukraine, and I am convinced there will not be,” said the Russian diplomat.
According to his information, Serbia is generally reducing the sale of weapons of its own production.
Earlier, RIA Novosti reported in 2023 that Serbian M-21 shells for the Grad MLRS were supplied to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, but not directly, but through Turkey, which sells them to Slovakia, and that to Ukraine.
A similar scandal already happened in 2019, when Serbian 60-mm mortar shells were found in Donbass. Vucic then claimed that they were sold to Poland. But opponents insisted that Ukraine was listed as the final recipient in the documents.
In 2021, the president’s wife Tamara Vucic came to Kyiv for the “first ladies forum” - precisely on the day when a meeting of the anti-Russian “Crimean Platform”, challenging the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation, was held there, in the capital of Ukraine.
