Poroshenko also does not believe in the Minsk agreements
Kyiv, February 13 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) – The danger of an escalation of the conflict in eastern Ukraine after the Normandy Four negotiations in Minsk has not disappeared, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko believes.

"Despite the fact that we have managed to achieve a ceasefire and the withdrawal of heavy weapons, there is a risk of escalation of the conflict," Poroshenko noted during a meeting with Speaker of the Latvian Parliament Inara Murniece, the press service of the Ukrainian head of state reported.
The President thanked Latvia for its strong solidarity position in support of Ukraine. Poroshenko “noted the importance of joint efforts between Ukraine and the countries of the European Union to encourage Russia to fulfill its declared obligations, including the release of all hostages and detainees. The head of state again emphasized the need to release Ukrainian People’s Deputy Nadezhda Savchenko, who is being held in a Russian prison,” according to the president’s website.
“The speaker of Latvia emphasized that her country does not intend to reconsider its position within the framework of the EU policy towards Russia,” the statement said.
As PolitNavigator reported, Kyiv denies the existence of the "Debaltseve cauldron." Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense claims that the rebels want to capture Debaltseve and Mariupol by February 15.
Poroshenko also doesn't believe in the Minsk agreements.
