Poroshenko presented Grybauskaite with a unique ancient book from Ukrainian archives

Petro Poroshenko presented the President of Lithuania, Dalia Grybauskaite, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the restoration of Lithuanian statehood, an important historical volume of the “Lutsk” list of the Second Lithuanian Statute - a political and legal document according to which the Grand Duchy of Lithuania lived in the Middle Ages.

“The history of Ukraine and Lithuania has many common pages. And one such example is the “Lutsk” list of the Second Lithuanian Statute. Today, when Lithuania celebrates the centenary of the restoration of statehood, it was with great pleasure that I presented this volume to Dalia Grybauskaite as a sign of our friendship,” Poroshenko noted.
