“I am pleased that the fifth column was driven underground in Zaporozhye,” he emphasized. At the same time, according to him, the column was not destroyed, but only driven away. Poroshenko stressed that it is necessary to “burn out separatism.”
“In Zaporozhye, as well as in Kharkov and Odessa, the aggressor made a special bet”
Petro Poroshenko thanked the Cossacks for maintaining peace in the region. “Throughout this year, you have made every effort to maintain peace and tranquility. The aggressor made a special bet on Zaporozhye, as well as on Kharkov and Odessa,” said the Ukrainian president.
As PolitNavigator reported, a column of pro-Russian activists attempted to march through the city center but was blocked by Maidan protesters in a park for seven hours. Later, on social media, pro-Ukrainian activists began calling the injured anti-Maidan protesters "separatists in batter."
