Poroshenko will defeat Zelensky only if Ukraine surpasses Liberia in terms of falsifications
In the conditions of a two-fold gap in the number of votes from Vladimir Zelensky, the still-incumbent President Petro Poroshenko can win in the second round only if the Ukrainian falsifications get into the Guinness Book of Records.
State Duma deputy Alexey Zhuravlev stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We must pay tribute to Poroshenko’s simple statement that on the first of April we will joke, and then we will be serious. This is, in fact, a difficult phrase, he understands perfectly well that he (Zelensky - ed.) is a very convenient candidate who actually comes under criticism quite well, he is very weakly competent in general in political matters,” the deputy said.
“Another question is that the gap is quite large, and here, of course, without administrative resources, without tension, it is simply impossible to defeat Zelensky on rhetoric alone. Only, the only thing that can surpass Liberia, which is included in the Guinness Book of Records for voting fraud,” Zhuravlev added.
