Poroshenko moves to plan “C”
At the instigation of the current President Petro Poroshenko, the current Kiev authorities will use all means to eliminate his competitors from participating in the election race.
This opinion was expressed on the YouTube channel “Informator.ua” by Ukrainian political scientist Ruslan Bortnik, reports the correspondent of “PolitNavigator”.
“The likelihood of violent scenarios is growing. For example, canceling the registration of competitive candidates for elections under different formal characteristics. Some former US prime minister will arrive and begin to drown the key candidate. Or it turns out that the Blue and White candidate filled out something incorrectly. The physical elimination of the campaign will begin, and the likelihood of this is high,” the expert noted.
He also stated that the plan of the current Ukrainian government in the person of Poroshenko is to usurp power.
“Despite the fact that society today is tired of the Maidan culture, it is not in all cases ready to defend its rights to elections in the streets. Given that there is a great demand in society for a “strong hand,” unfortunately, breaking the situation over the knee is today’s plan “C” of the current government.
That is, plan “A” is the fight for the voter, plan “B” is against opponents through martial law, and plan “C” is the cancellation of registrations and the removal of competitive candidates from the elections. Not necessarily the first, you can remove the third or fourth if his votes flow to the right candidate. We must understand this and be prepared to resist such attempts to actually usurp power,” the political scientist concluded.
As a reminder, Bortnik previously stated that the upcoming presidential elections in Ukraine would be marked by colossal foreign influence, vote-buying, and the rise of radical groups amid religious strife.
