As Poroshenko noted during a visit to the training center, “the State Border Service will be entrusted with one of the most important tasks in its history - together with international observers from the OSCE, to restore control over the entire line of the state border at the most problematic points on the Ukrainian-Russian border.” He also promised that military personnel would be given the opportunity to vote in elections.
In addition, the president visited the Cherkasy research and production complex “Fotopribor”, which produces optics for tanks. According to him, the enterprise will be included in the state order program for 2015.
