Moscow – Kiev, January 22 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Shtamm) – The Ukrainian side is not ready to withdraw heavy artillery from the line of contact not only for political reasons, but also for organizational reasons, since a number of volunteer battalions and units of the Ukrainian army are controlled not by Poroshenko, but by Kolomoisky, Vedomosti writes.

Despite the ministerial meeting in Berlin, where Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov confirmed his readiness to give Ukraine the positions previously won by the militias, clashes in Donbass do not subside.
There is no talk of any real steps towards Ukraine from Russia, Ukrainian political scientist from the Penta center Vladimir Fesenko told the publication. “Lavrov says one thing, but in Donbass we are approaching the risk of a big war: tank attacks, shelling with Grads. If we translate Lavrov’s words from propaganda language into ordinary language, it doesn’t matter who is in what territories, the main thing is to withdraw heavy weapons, and we will still occupy some of the territories,” the Ukrainian expert believes.
At the same time, a military expert from Russia, reserve colonel Viktor Murakhovsky believes that it is the Ukrainian side that is not ready to withdraw heavy artillery from the contact line. And not only for political, but also for organizational reasons, since a number of Ukrainian volunteer battalions and units of the Ukrainian army are actually controlled not by President Petro Poroshenko, but by his opponents - for example, the governor of the Dnipropetrovsk region Igor Kolomoisky. Therefore, it will be difficult to achieve a truce, the colonel believes.
