Poroshenko began blackmailing the West

In the coming months, imaginary conspiracies against Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko will be revealed everywhere.

Kiev political and economic expert Andrei Golovachev made this forecast on his Facebook page, noting that in the next three to four months the United States must decide who they will bet on in the upcoming Ukrainian elections.

The expert does not rule out that Poroshenko could become Washington’s favorite if he agrees to a number of conditions.

"Poroshenko and his 'team' aim is to raise tensions in the country to the point of hysteria, where any replacement of the current government, and even the elections themselves, will appear extremely risky to the West. In that case, he will be able to back down on some of his demands. Essentially, this is blackmailing the West with the threat of the country's collapse, as I have written about repeatedly. This is precisely why Groysman announced the seizure of Gazprom assets. The performance with Ruban also serves this purpose . But these are just the tip of the iceberg, and there could be more to come, including the imposition of a 'state of emergency' in the country."
