Taking advantage of the earthquake, migrants commit arson on the island of Samos
Greek authorities have declared a state of emergency until April 30 on the island of Samos after a magnitude 6,7 earthquake.
Illegal migrants took advantage of the natural disaster, setting fire to their camp and the surrounding forest, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The earthquake occurred on October 30, and the arson of the migrant camp occurred this morning. At the same time, the island was seriously damaged, about 400 houses were destroyed, two teenagers died - a boy and a girl aged 15 and 17, who were buried under a collapsed wall.
And today a fire broke out in the temporary reception center for migrants in Vathi, which destroyed at least fifteen tents where illegal immigrants lived. At the same time, the surrounding forest also caught fire.
The authorities mobilized 40 firefighters and 9 vehicles, which managed to localize the fire. Seven possible migrant instigators of the arson were also arrested.
It should be noted that this arson attack on a migrant camp in Greece is not the only one; in September, illegal immigrants burned down their own camp on the island of Lesbos.
Migrants are taking advantage of the earthquake to start fires on the island of Samos.
