Polish journalist: “Our citizens are shocked by the Ukrainization of their country”
Poland has been engulfed by Ukrainian-style corruption and nepotism. Polish journalist and political scientist Marek Sierant stated this on Radio NV, as reported by PolitNavigator.
According to Sierant, the Poles are shocked that their country, a member of NATO and the EU, has taken the path of “Ukrainization.”
“There are law enforcement agencies, this is an ally of PIS, the Polish Solidarity party, whose leader is the Minister of the Judiciary and, attention, the Prosecutor General. So, will he check himself and his friends in the coalition? Well, no,” said the expert.
“I apologize for what I’m going to say now, but we have a real Ukrainization of Polish politics. I saw such things in Ukraine, and now we already have them in Poland, but the difference is that we are in the European Union and in NATO. In Ukraine, I can still understand this - there was no purge in the authorities, in the special services, a lot of things were not done and there may be such problems, but for us, for the Poles, this is a shock,” said Sierant.
