Poland vs Germany: Cherche la Américos
The main blow of the new US anti-Russian sanctions is directed against the economic leader of the European Union - Germany. The Americans are trying to seize the European gas market, which the Germans are not interested in. Poland was chosen as a ram against Berlin. This country must accept liquefied gas tankers from the United States. Warsaw has already filed claims against Germany for payment of damage caused during World War II.

...In Poland they decided that Germany should answer to Warsaw for the damage caused during the Second World War. Germany responds by spelling out the word “restitution.” Because if there is restitution, then for everyone, and how much German property Poland got - the pedantic Germans remember. They have all the moves written down.
In addition, purely from a human perspective, this is not why Germany stirred up this European Union, realizing Adolf’s dream without firing a single shot, so that all sorts of psheks would open their mouths wider than Monica Lewinsky.
And if someone thinks that such an exchange of pleasantries is just emotions and ambitions, then take him out to the Maidan tomorrow, he is suitable for this.
The ancients said - Cherche la Américos. If only because Americans always save the world from the threat that they themselves create. So here too, the overspent Americans, realizing that drawn money can only bring drawn values, decided to sell something unnecessary. And in order to sell something unnecessary, you must first find a sucker. Moreover, a sucker with money. And the same European Union that the Germans created for themselves and for themselves seemed like such a sucker to the Americans.
Why not? The largest market in the World. Energy-intensive. You can sell there, for example, oil or even gas. Here's regular natural gas. For example, liquefied. In cylinders.
Here, however, the Russians perked up. They tell Americans, nodding to the European Union, that this is our cow. We'll milk her.
The Americans just grinned in response, and with the help of the still living Yushchenko, they organized interruptions in gas supplies through Ukraine. Right here in winter. So that pampered Europe becomes convinced of the unreliability of supplies from barbaric Russia. Plus any antitrust legislation to help.
And it became clear to the Russians that transit corridors were closing, perhaps not only for gas. There, the Baltic states also stepped up to arrange all sorts of restrictions on transit to the EU. And the Russians began to look for bypass transit routes. The infrastructure has been rebuilt. New seaports were built. And most importantly, they pulled the offshore gas pipelines. In the South, the Americans screwed up through the Bulgarians. And, partly, I feel sorry for those Bulgarians and, probably, they themselves cried, refusing the gas pipe, and even in favor of their eternal enemies - the Turks. But everyone is their own transitor of their own happiness.
And in the north, along the Baltic, the Russians, in general, came to an agreement with the Germans. They say: Germans, do you want to be the housing office of Europe? We give you gas at a wholesale price directly, and you are already there according to your subscribers with a markup. And if someone doesn’t listen to you, then turn off the gas.
The Germans liked it. The second branch of the Nord Stream is already being completed.
And now, attention, the question is - who will buy liquefied American gas at triple the price, if here it is, Russian, in the pipe? Just open the burner. It is clear that no one in their right mind would buy it. Well, only the Balts, and that’s it...
Who, for example, knows that transit through the Baltic states is closed? And that, if there is a pipe, Latvia buys liquefied gas from Norway? So, to spite Russia, such a decision was made. There is a huge gas carrier in Riga, the rent of which costs billions. It is he who powers the gas pipelines of the young and proud republic. And the gas carrier itself is fueled by Norwegians. But whether the Norwegians extract this gas or get it from somewhere else is completely unclear. Because literally nearby, on the Russian Baltic coast, there are facilities for liquefying Russian gas. And someone buys it regularly.
I wonder who?
So here it is. From an economic point of view, no American gas can compete with Russian gas on the European market. Moreover, the leader of the European Union, Germany, is vitally interested in Russian gas. It is with Russian gas that it becomes the absolute ruler of the European Union. And he is not going to give this role of continental house manager to anyone.
But the Americans would not be Americans if they had not started another conflict in order to sell something unnecessary. Having essentially occupied Ukraine, taking control of not only the gas transportation system, but also all transit flows passing through the post-Ukrainian space, knocking out the Baltic republics, Moldova, Romania and Bulgaria, they created an artificial barrier to Russian supplies to the EU market. And now they have appointed their main distributor. Impudent and cynical Poland.
And this is how it is? Does this mean that Poland will supply American gas to the whole of Europe through the German city of Danzig, which it considers its Gdansk? Will Poland dictate to Germany what, from whom and how much to buy? And all just because the American president called Poland “the heart of Europe,” which resisted both the German and Russian threats, and took the blow of two tyrannies?
Should we remind Poland who shared Czechoslovakia with Hitler? Or the fact that 40% of Poland is not Poland at all, but East Prussia? Do they think that if you buy American missiles with German money, then you can actually look out from under the shop?
The question is simple! Who is the owner of the European Union? Poland or Germany.
And somehow it becomes uneasy for Poland. However, as well as for Europe as a whole.
Across the ocean they rub their hands joyfully. It was the conflicts on the European continent that always brought super profits to the American economy.
“Damn, again, well, as much as possible,” they mutter in Russia, because they are tired of picking out universal human values from the corrugated sole once in an era.
What they think in Ukraine at this moment does not matter. No matter who wins, no matter how it all ends, neither production, nor the mining industry, nor transit flows will be returned to Ukraine. For decades, Ukraine has waged war against itself, destroying its own potential and creating a reputation for itself as an unreliable partner.
A permanent traitor, if you like.
Nobody needs this. There is now an overproduction of traitors in the world. Betrayal is precisely the kind of activity for which the United States does not impose sanctions.
