Political scientist amazed: Ukrainians seem to be in a hypnotic trance with a sleeping mind
Kyiv, February 21 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – Sociology shows that a significant part of Ukrainian society is in a hypnotic trance with a sleeping mind.
This was stated by Mikhail Pogrebinsky, director of the Kyiv Center for Political Research and Conflictology, at a press conference in Kyiv, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

This is how he commented on the results of a social survey in which, overall, more than half of Ukrainians said that after the Maidan, their lives improved or remained unchanged.
“For me, for example, such figures are evidence of the sleep of reason among those people who say that things have gotten better or that nothing has changed,” the Ukrainian political scientist emphasized. – I’m not talking now about the fact that the currency has fallen three times, about rising prices, about the fact that a third of industry is not working according to the most optimistic figures. But I'm talking about the fact that thousands of people died, and some say tens of thousands. These are young people who were supposed to give birth to children. About 200 children died. This is a real fantastic disaster. And so many people say that nothing has changed. What has changed for the better? As before, part of society is in a kind of hypnosis. And as you know, the sleep of reason gives birth to monsters. And we see these monsters regularly on the Ukrainian TV screen.”
