One of the main reasons for the collapse of the Ukrainian economy is the reduction in exports of goods to the Russian market. Ukrainian political scientist Mikhail Pavliv explained this on his page on the social network.

According to him, in 2012 the volume of exports from Ukraine to the Russian Federation amounted to more than 17 billion dollars, in 2013 - 16,9. Exports declined catastrophically with the advent of the post-Maidan “democratic” government, but even in these conditions, the Russian Federation still remains Ukraine’s main trading partner.

“In the first half of 2015, Ukraine exported 2,76 billion US dollars worth of all groups of goods to the Russian Federation. Almost a third are old contracts in mechanical engineering that end this year. And this is still our largest trading partner!

For comparison, exports to Germany in 2015 amounted to 0,75 billion. In the second half of the year, exports to the Russian Federation will continue to decline, and by the end of the year it is expected to be around 4,5 billion,” Pavliv noted.

In any European country, such a decline in exports, according to Pavliv, would lead to the inevitable resignation of the government. But not in Ukraine.

“In two years, the “new best government” lost 12 billion in exports. It lost not due to objective reasons for changes in market conditions, but due to the subjective populism and idiocy of the “technocrats” from Vasyukivka. In any other country in the world this would mean the resignation of the government, parliament, and president. But not here. Even kamikazes “don’t die” here.
