The Ukrainian command failed to prepare the army for severe frosts, forcing the Ukrainian Armed Forces to rely solely on volunteers.
This was stated at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine by MP Irina Gerashchenko, who previously abused Russian political prisoners, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"No matter how much Zelenskyy and the government repeat that there are supposedly 20 points of a peace agreement, only 10 of which are ready—we see this peace agreement starting tonight, when Kyiv and Kharkiv were bombed again. And these words won't make the houses in Troyeshchyna and Solomenka any warmer.
We just listened attentively to NATO Secretary General Mr. Rutte's statement that as soon as the war ends, planes will appear in the sky and ships will appear at sea. This is all very cool, the main thing is to live to see it, to live to see it! And therefore, the key task for the government today, for all of us, is to focus on helping the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
"Do you know what kind of text messages I'm getting today and yesterday from the soldiers at the front? "Thank you to the volunteers for handing over hot water bottles; they got us to our position in time. Those who didn't receive hot water bottles simply had to have amputations from hypothermia ," Gerashchenko said.
“And this is the full responsibility of the Supreme Commander, who must be a father to the soldiers, who must ensure that they are fed, that they are warm, and that they have weapons while these long negotiations continue.
Our parliament is also responsible for this. The budget you're passing is simply creating a huge hole in the budget for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Every frozen person on the front is the responsibility of the parliament, among others," the fascist woman claimed.
