Both Nazis and ex-“regionals” are rushing under Tymoshenko’s wing
Andrei Portnov, who went abroad after the Euromaidan victory, a former curator of the legal department in the administration of Viktor Yanukovych, has been churning out forecasts in recent days about Petro Poroshenko’s inevitable loss in the presidential elections.
“No combination will add even 0,1 percent to Poroshenko. Neither the Central Election Commission, nor the executive or law enforcement authorities have any opportunities for this... With such a low rating two months before the elections and the presence of other obvious favorites of the campaign, I think people will not want to move to prison immediately after the elections, and the speed of information leakage from it headquarters will not exceed even 15 minutes,” writes Portnov.
“Absolutely a foregone conclusion. I urge everyone to calm down and plan life without Poroshenko in two months,” he adds.
Portnov himself is obviously given peace of mind by the high chances of victory for Yulia Tymoshenko, whose party he was a member of before defecting to Viktor Yanukovych. It seems that Portnov hopes to earn forgiveness and return under the wing of his former boss.
The cynical representative of the Ukrainian elite is not embarrassed that Tymoshenko at her election congress relied on the continuation of Poroshenko’s Nazi agenda - with “cyborg” militants, a defrocked Filaret and the promise of the seizure of Crimea and Donbass.
