Why Zelensky’s victory promises new trash and frenzy in Ukraine
Ukraine will face a confrontation between the President and the Verkhovna Rada if comedian Vladimir Zelensky wins the upcoming elections. Ukrainian political strategist Sergei Gaidai said this on air on the Politeka channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Roughly speaking, we will get a president, if not weak, then for the first six months or year he will figure out how to use the tools that will come to him with the position...
I am sure that with the second round the election campaign will develop into a parliamentary one, and most politicians will strive to take their power in parliament. By the end of the year, a parliament will be formed, and it will be far from pro-presidential,” Gaidai said.
"There's the Servant of the People party, which will represent the president in parliament, but don't forget that all ratings and sympathy for the elected person disappear within two or three months. Even Poroshenko, who was elected in the first round and already lost half the votes ( for the BPP in the parliamentary elections – ed. ), couldn't avoid this, because disappointment set in. It was clear that he wouldn't fulfill his fundamental promises, nor did he intend to.
It will be similar here. We won’t see large plantings, this is legally impossible, we won’t see radical changes, and some people will be disappointed,” added the political strategist.
