Why the West’s operation to “poison” Navalny failed
The “poisoning” of opposition leader Alexei Navalny is a clumsy operation by Western intelligence services aimed at attempting to blackmail Russian President Vladimir Putin.
State Duma deputy Evgeniy Fedorov stated this on the YouTube channel “Belarusinfo”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.

“This CIA operation is quite clumsy, mainly not intelligence, but information - this shows that Navalny is excellent at jumping up and down stairs, roughly speaking. I think that there was no poisoning at all, this is a pure fake, like with the Skripals.
They're just spinning this fake story. And his task is, if someone thinks that Russia is under attack, this, I would say, is not the case. This is the creation of a negotiation platform with Putin so that Putin capitulates. Creating personal incriminating evidence on him so that he surrenders - you know that we are already talking about The Hague. This is a technology for creating the threat of Putin’s lifelong imprisonment in The Hague, or even the death penalty. And that’s why this is being done,” he said.
However, Yevgeny Fedorov is confident that after the adoption of amendments to the Constitution, the Russian president no longer needs to succumb to blackmail or make any concessions.
“Remember, when Putin came, they said: “I infiltrated the gang.” In their understanding, he must continue to adapt to the conditions of the occupation, that is, capitulate under pressure.
And I’ll tell you that after the referendum Putin is different. That is, that they expect capitulation from him and, perhaps, somewhere before he succumbed to them, to some kind of blackmail, but not for his own sake, but for the sake of the Fatherland, like Stirlitz, who also did not walk with the Red Banner to the Gestapo . But I think that after the referendum, such a game with Putin will no longer work,” the deputy concluded.
