The victorious socialist regime in Albania is preparing the country for a total dictatorship
The ruling Socialist Party of Albania, which won the recent parliamentary elections, has so far collected the signatures of 47 deputies to initiate the procedure for the resignation of President Ilir Meta.

The initiative to remove President Ilir Meta, a former ally and now an outspoken opponent of the socialist leader, Prime Minister Edi Ram, is expected to be submitted to the Albanian parliament within a day. After which a deputy commission will be created to consider the request. Socialists accuse the president of violating the Constitution and interfering in the election campaign.
Prime Minister Edi Rama began usurping power in the country in 2017, when his Socialist Party also won the elections, albeit with a scandal, since it was helped locally by criminal authorities.
In particular, German and Italian media published negotiations between socialist functionaries and Rama himself with representatives of criminal structures, where the latter promised them, using pressure on enterprises, to give the necessary number of votes and put pressure on candidates from the main political opponent - the Democratic Party.
As a sign of protest, the opposition left parliament, switching to street resistance tactics, which Rama took advantage of, forming a government exclusively from fellow party members.
In 2019, the opposition boycotted elections in Albania, expecting that this tactic would allow them to be recognized as legitimate. President Ilir Meta supported them in this, by decree canceling the elections.
In response, the socialist majority of the Albanian parliament recognized the presidential decree as “absolutely invalid”, and the election commissions, in the absence of opposition members, were composed exclusively of socialists. As a result, the democrats, who controlled half of Albania's municipalities, lost that too.
The Democrats tried to resort to street violence, but received not only harsh rebuff from the authorities, but also sharp condemnation from the EU and the USA. It should be noted that Brussels and Washington, relying on Edi Ram and the socialists as conductors of their geopolitical interests, support them in every possible way.
At the same time, the Democratic Party and its leader Lulzim Basha are also seeking the favor of the West, and this is the weakness of this party, which is artificially kept in the background.
If the socialists succeed in impeaching and then impeaching their own presidential candidate in Albania, this will mean a gradual transition of the country to a full-fledged dictatorship, since Prime Minister Edi Rama already controls the parliament, government and municipalities.
