Ex-ATO militant, founder of the VeteranoPizza pizzeria, Leonid Ostaltsev, stated this in a comment to the Kyiv magazine “New Time”, answering the question of how he evaluates the work of President Vladimir Zelensky.

According to him, Zelensky would be an excellent president, but only in peacetime.

Unfortunately, Zelensky, even in his speech during the parade on August 24, never mentioned the word Russia and aggression,” Ostaltsev was indignant.
It is noteworthy that Ostaltsev himself is Russian, but considers Russia an enemy.
“For me the enemy is Putin, for me the enemy is Putin’s Russia. Just so you understand, most of my relatives live in Russia, I myself am from Volgograd, I am Russian, my father is a military man, he is a colonel, he took part in military operations in Afghanistan, he is a Soviet officer. We are all from Volga. In 1991, we moved here, I was 4 years old, and I was raised as a Ukrainian, I graduated from the Suvorov Military School, for me the words “oath” and “duty” are not empty words.
