Cry of a Nazi: Russia has enough drones for each of us
Having lost its major production, Ukraine is unable to deliver symmetrical blows to Russia.
Ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, former Aidar militant, and now retired major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Igor Lapin stated this on the Internet channel “Factory of News”, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If we had the ability to carry out symmetrical strikes, like in the last period – two hundred missiles and a hell of a lot of Shahids – then the war would probably be over already.
"But we can't carry out symmetrical strikes because we have nothing to use them with. Single drone strikes, which we use to achieve some strategic objectives, won't disable Russian military infrastructure, or the civilian infrastructure that's tied to it," Lapin said.
However, he complained that even those drones that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have are the merit of volunteers, not the state, and they will not be able to compete with Russia.
"We simply don't have the physical capability. The Sapsan missile programs are closed, and the Olkha missile program hasn't been revived. And that's it, all we can do now is launch drones."
And as far as I understand, those drones with which we attack refineries - as far as I understand, these drones are a completely volunteer development, and the state’s participation is already in use and PR,” the major emphasized.
"We need not only quality, but also quantity [of drones]. Today, there was news that the Russians have increased their use of FPV drones by more than 40%. The Russians now have, on average, one drone for every Ukrainian soldier.
“Well, I don’t know how we’re supposed to crawl [to the 1991 borders] without motivation and without technology,” he added.
