The blockade of Crimea may have an effect in a month, when prices in stores are likely to begin to rise, but the initiators of the road closures still miscalculated.
Writer Platon Besedin stated this on the talk show “Everything is as it is.”

“I think that the results will be in a month and a half... Crimea, until there is normal communication with Russia, until there is clear communication... will remain dependent on Ukraine. You can’t throw away 20-30-50 years and break all these ties,” he said.
However, the writer emphasized, the initiators of the blockade still miscalculated.
"The most important thing Ukrainians are missing is that they think most Crimeans came out in March 2014 for pensions and social benefits. But it was a more ideological, spiritual connection ( with Russia – ed. ). A blockade won't have any effect here," Besedin said.
