Moscow's reciprocal measures in response to Kiev's expulsion of 13 Russian diplomats from Ukraine are creating career problems for Ukrainian diplomats.

“Currently we have less than 60 people in the embassy in Moscow; diplomats and consuls are subject to expulsion. This will create serious career problems for them, because the mission is ending early and it will be difficult for them to find decent positions within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,” said the publication’s interlocutor.
According to him. “Departure will be carried out by road transport - you need to pick up families and things almost simultaneously.”
“Diplomats will not dare to leave their families in Russia, because now they are working practically in a state of siege,” says a source in the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry. – Employees with their families are afraid of provocations and are forced to live on the territory of the embassy; leaving it at night is strictly prohibited. This is the only thing that makes some diplomats happy about leaving.”
