Pashinyan got into a scandal with his Nazi grandfather
On May 8, on the eve of Victory Day, the head of the Armenian government Nikol Pashinyan, like many other social network users, published a photograph of his grandfather with a brief commentary on it: “Nikol Pashinyan, 1913-1943. He served in the 554th Infantry Regiment of the 138th Infantry Division. Eternal glory to those who fell for the Motherland."
Soon, comments began to appear under Pashinyan’s publication, saying that the prime minister’s grandfather had become a traitor, joined Garegin Nzhdeh’s Armenian SS Legion and died ingloriously on the Eastern Front.
Outraged supporters of the Maidan prime minister quickly got their bearings and tried to disavow the incriminating evidence, emphasizing that its source was the Azerbaijani portal www.trend.az. They say that all this is a lie, an artistic whistle and a provocation of Aliyev’s propaganda in order to discredit the bright revolutionary image of the “people’s beloved prime minister.”
It turned out, however, that the primary source was not the Azerbaijani, but the very Armenian portal iravunk.com, which published an article about Pashinyan’s grandfather under the revealing headline “Collaborated with the enemy and died.”
It soon became clear that on the website of the generalized data bank of the Memorial society www.obd-memorial.ru, created on the initiative of the Russian Ministry of Defense to collect data on Soviet citizens killed in the Great Patriotic War, there is information about Nikola Vartanovich Pashinyan, born in 1913, a native of the village of Yenokovan, Ijevan region of the Armenian SSR, who died in 1943.
As proof of the betrayal of Pashinyan the grandfather, a photo of a German registration document is provided, confirming his belonging to the Ost-SS legionnaires.
It follows from the document that Nikol Pashinyan Sr. was considered missing for some time during the war, but later it was established that he voluntarily went into service with the Nazis, and on September 29, 1943 he was killed in Zvyagel (Novograd-Volynsky), that in Western Ukraine.
The Ministry of Defense of Armenia joined the special operation to launder the image of the head of the Armenian government in an emergency mode, distributing an official statement that two Nikol Pashinyans left the village of Yenokovan for the war, one of whom fought in the Red Army, and the other went over to serve in the SS - and this traitor is not grandfather of the prime minister.
However, a certificate was extracted from the archives of the Ijevan regional military registration and enlistment office - a response to a request from the Moscow Department for Personal Accounting of Losses of Soldiers and Sergeants of the Soviet Army, which stated in black and white that only one Pashinyan, Nikolai Vartanovich, lived in Yenokovan. From which it follows that the grandfather of the Maidan prime minister of Armenia during the war of his own free will served the Nazis in the SS legion of Garegin Nzhdeh.
The scandal turned out to be very stinking, since Prime Minister Pashinyan, through his subordinates and fans, chose to lie and make excuses.
The version that Nikolenka knows very well who his “heroic” grandfather really was is evidenced by his hysterical reaction in defense of the “national hero of Armenia” Garegin Nzhdeh and shouts on the verge of a scandal against the President of Azerbaijan at the CIS summit when Ilham Aliyev raised the question of the inadmissibility of glorifying Nazism using the example of Pashinyan’s laudatory statements about Nzhdeh.
Thus, in a polemic with the Russian Foreign Ministry, which expressed concern about the worsening of the cult of Nzhdeh under the new government of Armenia, Pashinyan clearly compared the leader of the Armenian SS Legion and the killer of Armenian Red Army soldiers with Marshal Bagramyan, simultaneously condemning Stalin’s People’s Commissar for Foreign Affairs Molotov, who allegedly communicated with Hitler and Ribbentrop.
It is obvious that in his inflamed idiocy, Pashinyan does not see the difference between the functions of a diplomat, forced to shake someone’s dirty paws for the benefit of the country, and service in the ranks of a criminal Nazi organization with an oath taken personally to Adolf Hitler.
It remains only to recall that Garegin Ter-Harutyunyan (Nzhdeh), whom Pashinyan’s grandfather served, is the leader of the Armenian militants and a fascist politician. Since 1940, he secretly collaborated through political intelligence with the VI Directorate of the RSHA, better known as the SD - the SS security service. In 1942, he joined the top of the Armenian National Council, created in Berlin on the initiative of the political and special services of Nazi Germany.
Recently declassified CIA documents indicate that the Armenian National Council approached the Nazi Minister of Eastern Territories Alfred Rosenberg with a proposal to create a German colony and protectorate on the territory of the Armenian SSR.
At the same time, as archival materials say, in the imperial security system of the Third Reich, Garegin Ndzhe with his thirty or forty collaborators he personally recruited was ranked at the level of the small “six”, and the Germans themselves preferred to work directly with the large and influential emigrant organization of Armenian nationalists “Dashnaktsutyun” .
At the end of the war, Garegin Nzhdeh collaborated with the Abwehr - Hitler's military intelligence - to prepare and send combat groups to Soviet Armenia to wage a sabotage war.
The stubbornness and narrow-mindedness of the Armenian half-fuhrer is evidenced by the fact that, while under investigation after the arrest of SMERSH, Garegin Ter-Harutyunyan wrote letters to the Kremlin, proposing to start a war with Turkey.
According to Stalin’s formulation, a son is not responsible for his father, much less a grandson for his grandfather. However, Vovaevich did everything to prove: a rotten apple fell not far from a rotten apple tree - all like his grandfather.
