Ferry with ATMs left Sevastopol Bay

Sevastopol, May 30 (Navigator, Egor Kagorov) – Deputy Acting Governor of Sevastopol Alexander Svechnikov officially announced that the ferry “Captain-Lieutenant Kazarsky”, on which 20 ATMs of Sberbank of Russia were located, left Artbukhta. It never began to function.

Let us remind you that the Admiral Governor of the city, Sergei Menyailo, said at a press conference almost a month ago: “We have brought a ship on which ATMs will operate. There, anyone with hryvnia accounts in Ukrainian banks will be able to withdraw their deposits in rubles.”

The residents of Sevastopol waited - the ferry arrived a couple of days later, but the work of the “floating bank” was not started.
When the questions of the Sevastopol residents eager to get their “hard-earned money” tired of the sailors on duty on the ship, an inscription appeared on board: “The money will be available on May 25.” However, this did not happen either.

At first, city authorities explained the delay by the fact that the ruble mass had not been delivered.

Now Alexander Svechnikov commented on the situation as follows: “At the moment, a sufficient number of Russian banks have entered the city. Moreover, from the 1st the hryvnia is a foreign currency. There is no longer any need for a “money ferry.”
