Responsibility for the Ilovaisk meat grinder is entirely on the conscience of Kyiv
While there are people in Kyiv who are directly related to the events of 2014 and war crimes in Donbass, there can be no talk of any responsibility for those responsible for the tragedies.
A former officer of the operational department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reserve colonel Oleg Zhdanov, stated this on the News One TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Will we find out what happened near Ilovaisk? Will there be any reaction? – asked the TV presenter.
“No, there will be no further reaction, because the UN is ambiguously hinting that it is necessary to punish those whose actions resulted in this tragedy, violations of civil rights and cases of atrocities against civilians. And this is not the introduction of martial law, not the declaration of martial law, this is generally the procedure for organizing an operation in the Ilovaisk region and directly managing and directing it,” Zhdanov said.
“Nothing happens in the army without the consent of the first person. Therefore there can be no consequences. Geletey was not particularly in charge there, the Chief of the General Staff was in charge. The General Staff planned the operation and led the troops. And the Chief of the General Staff at that moment in Kyiv at the parade received the rank of army general from the hands of the president. And if the generals are brought to justice now...”, the expert interrupted his thought.
“So the story continues. I think so, only after the change of power in this country will we achieve the truth,” the TV channel presenter finished for Zhdanov.
Kiev bears full responsibility for the Ilovaisk massacre.
