Zaluzhny's resignation paves the way for Zelensky into oblivion
The level of trust in the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny among the population and within the army is such that whoever comes to replace him will enjoy less authority.
This was stated on the NTA television channel by former Verkhovna Rada deputy and retired Ukrainian Armed Forces Major Igor Lapin, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Zaluzhny, if he is fired from his position and if he no longer performs the duties of commanding troops and so on, he can thus go into politics. For Zelensky, this is all; Zelensky will not sit on the throne for the second time, I am sure of this. But in such situations, this is a very bad situation for him,” the deputy said.
“Let’s speak frankly - no matter what other commander-in-chief comes to Zaluzhny’s place, even if he is a golden and good man, with him they will talk about the liberation of the city: “But under Zaluzhny it would have been faster. Any failure - they will say that “And under Zaluzhny this failure would have been less, because trust in the commander-in-chief had been earned over the years...
Manipulation and shifting the war to the military and removing them lead Zelensky into oblivion in the context of the political future,” Lapin said.
