By denying Minsk, Poroshenko excludes himself from the “Normandy format”.

By denying the Minsk format of negotiations on Donbass, Poroshenko makes his participation in the “Normandy” format impossible. Deputy Director of the Institute of CIS Countries Vladimir Zharikhin stated this today at a press conference in Moscow.

“The presence of Ukraine among the three great powers is connected only with the discussion of the implementation of the Minsk agreements. On all other issues, Poroshenko’s presence is absolutely not required,” Zharikhin said.
