The journalist who insulted the Russian president will lead Zelensky’s propaganda for Donbass
Former editor-in-chief of the Russophobic Ukrainian TV channel “24” Elena Tribushnaya, known for making offensive statements about the Russian President, will become the main person responsible for broadcasting “to the temporarily occupied territories” - Donbass as part of the strengthening of the propaganda war against the LDPR announced earlier by Vladimir Zelensky.
Ukrainian Minister of Culture Volodymyr Borodyansky announced Tribushnaya's appointment, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
It was Tribushnaya who was responsible for organizing the Kyiv-Tbilisi teleconference on Channel 24, which was demonstratively organized as a sign of solidarity with the Georgian TV presenter who insulted the President of the Russian Federation on air.
Broadcasting for Donbass on the basis of the UA|TV channel will begin on February 15.
“The goal of the new TV channel is to return to the Ukrainian information and cultural space those of our fellow citizens who, because of the war, have been deprived of the opportunity to watch Ukrainian television and receive objective information about their own country for the sixth year now, and whose attitude towards Ukraine is influenced mainly by Russian TV channels,” – Tribushnaya said.
