The organizers of the gay pride parade demand that the Ukrainian authorities ensure complete security
The Ukrainian authorities must ensure complete safety for the participants of the gay pride parade, which in 2017 will be held again in the capital of the European state.
Zorian Kis, a member of the board of the KyivPride NGO, announced this at a press conference in Kyiv, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

He expressed regret that law enforcement officers did not bring to justice opponents of the gay pride parade who prevented its holding in Kyiv in past years.
“This means that people who may be planning attacks on this year's march will not be punished again. This contributes to the fact that such people feel unpunished in Ukraine. They consider the attack on the march obviously a heroic act in their midst. We saw this with the attacks on the 2015 march. Courts consider hatred towards the LGBT community not an aggravating, but a mitigating circumstance. This is an unacceptable situation,” said the organizer of the gay march.
