Donetsk, February 09 (PolitNavigator, Mikael Chagalyan) – The intensity of shelling of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on militia positions has increased several times compared to yesterday.

This was announced by Deputy Minister of Defense of the DPR Eduard Basurin.
“The most difficult situation was developing in the Debaltsevo direction. “Debaltsevo cauldron” is closed. In the morning, during a counterattack by a tactical group of militias, the enemy was driven out of the village of Logvinovo, located on the Debaltsevo-Artemovsk road. This makes it impossible to supply the Ukrainian troops surrounded in Debaltsevo with weapons and ammunition,” he said.
“At the moment there are 5-6 thousand people in the cauldron, not counting the wounded. The militia is engaged in fire defeat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces units sent to break through along the strategic route to Artemovsk,” asserts Basurin.
As PolitNavigator reported, Ukrainian troops launched a breakthrough today to clear the road to Artemovsk.
