Political scientist Valery Pesetsky wrote about this on his blog, as reported by PolitNavigator . He said the thieves stole everything from the diplomat's home, right down to his slippers.
“In the Pechersky district of Kyiv, house thieves ransacked the house of a Danish citizen, an employee of the UN mission in Ukraine. They took everything from a laptop to a toothbrush and slippers,” Pesetsky said.
Earlier, Batkivshchyna party leader Yulia Tymoshenko stated that thieves in Ukraine have become so impoverished that they steal even things of no value from apartments.
