The DPR Ombudsman spoke about torture, deception, and arbitrariness of the SBU
Most of the detainees transferred by Kiev during the exchange with the DPR are people detained for political reasons, and the articles incriminated against them do not fit in any way with the harsh methods used by the Ukrainian special services in relation to the “exchange fund”.
Human Rights Commissioner of the DPR Daria Morozova stated this on the First Republican TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“2014, we are agreeing on an exchange, there is a certain list of names, then exchanges still took place in the Yasinovataya area. We arrived, grandma comes out. Ivanova? Ivanova. Maria Mikhailovna? Maria Mikhailovna. She’s carrying a string bag, there’s a hot bottle lying there, and she’s like, “Well, that’s it, have you counted me?” I say yes. “Well, that’s it, I’m off, who will take me back?” Do you mean “back”?
She was going to her godfather’s birthday, SBU officers approached her because they couldn’t find the person with the same last name that I asked for, they looked in the database where there was a namesake, and brought her for exchange,” she said Morozova.
“Of all the guys and women I changed, I can say that only twenty percent had anything to do with military action or something of such a significant nature. All the rest were politically minded citizens who did not agree with the armed coup that took place in Kyiv. Either they helped Donbass with humanitarian aid, or defended it on social networks, or something else,” the ombudsman added.
“In fact, these are not the same articles that they were charged with, and the actions on their part, how they were beaten, how they were tortured, too. It was a very big overkill. But, nevertheless, we have this problem,” Daria Morozova emphasized.
