Poroshenko’s entourage is arguing whether to disperse Mihomaydan
Disputes broke out among Petro Poroshenko’s circle regarding what to do with the tent city near the Verkhovna Rada. Part of the elite proposes to delay time, while others demand a forceful dispersal in order to prevent a repeat of the Maidan. This was stated by Verkhovna Rada deputy Yegor Sobolev, who came out to the protesters.

According to him, so far everything suggests that the deputies will pass a law on lifting immunity, but as for the remaining demands for the creation of an anti-corruption court and changing the electoral system, the authorities have no solution.
“There is a leadership of the country that thinks that “we need to start giving in on something, and then we’ll see, maybe we can drag out time, people will disperse.”
As far as I am informed, there is part of the leadership that says: “we need to disperse them now, because later there will be more of them, and we will not stop them.”
There is a part of the country’s leadership that says: “we need to disperse ourselves so that the parliament does not work and no decisions are made.” Yesterday, people's deputies came to the speaker, complained that they were being beaten, and said that they would not go to work.
Convince them, but do not beat the people's deputies, because if they run away, no decisions will be made. But we need solutions,” Sobolev said to his like-minded people on duty at the tents.
