“Today, December 29, representatives of the parties “Freedom”, “Power of People” and “People’s Movement of Ukraine” decided to start replacing the signs on Marshal Zhukov Avenue and Leningradskaya Street. Thus, old signs were dismantled from houses on Marshal Zhukov Avenue and Leningradskaya Street. From now on, signs with new names appeared on these houses: “Heavenly Hundred Avenue” and “Alexandra Kutuzakia Street,” the message says.
According to the nationalists cited by the publication, they were “tired of waiting” for the Odessa City Hall to replace the signs on the city streets, which were renamed in accordance with decommunization, and decided to do it themselves.
