The water pipeline of the Seversky Donets-Donbass canal was damaged by Ukrainian Armed Forces shelling
As a result of shelling by the Ukrainian army of the DPR-controlled city of Gorlovka, the water pipeline of the Seversky Donets-Donbass canal, which supplies water to such cities of the republic as Donetsk, Makeevka and Yasinovataya, was damaged.
The DPR Representative Office to the JCCC reported this on its official Telegram channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
It is noted that the fire was fired from the positions of the Ukrainian army near the village of Shumy in the direction of the village of the mine named after. Izotov in the city of Gorlovka.
“As a result of the ingress, there is a large loss of water. The location of the hole is in the so-called “buffer zone”, and therefore the approach to it requires the coordination of security guarantees with the Ukrainian side in the JCCC. KP “Company “Water of Donbass” is ready to begin repair and restoration work after ensuring safety,” the message says.
Deputy of the People's Council of the DPR Vladislav Berdichevsky also commented on the incident in his Telegram channel.
“Poroshenko warned yesterday about an environmental and humanitarian crisis situation. So Bandera’s followers are fulfilling it under the favorable pat on the back of the “democratic, civilized” world community,” he wrote.
