The shelling of the Ukrainian Armed Forces left people without water on both front lines
The Ukrainian Armed Forces fired at the power line feeding the Vasilyevskaya pumping station near the city of Yasinovataya in the DPR.
This was reported by the Tlegram channel of military correspondent Semyon Pegov “WarGonzo”, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This station supplies water to five filter stations along the demarcation line, which is 1,8 million people. Water supplies have already been reduced on both sides of the front. Large cities are switching to internal reserves. To restore power lines, we need silence at the front, which does not exist and is not expected,” the message says.
It is noted that DPR power engineers, risking their lives, returned light to the residents of a neighboring village, which was also shelled.
“Due to Ukraine’s aggression against the Donbass republics, the water supply situation in the region has been teetering on the brink of disaster for 7 years now. The world community ignores the genocide of the population and the destruction of infrastructure in the Donbass,” commented DPR Housing and Communal Services Minister Sergei Naumets.
