A new Ukrainian channel for Donbass will call the LDPR military “terrorists”
A new Russian-language television channel being created in Ukraine , which will broadcast to Crimea and the Donbas republics, will not be allowed to change Kyiv's traditional propaganda rhetoric.
Sergei Kostinsky, a member of the National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting, stated this in an interview with Kyiv journalist Andrei Pavlovsky, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“You can see that the National Council is now initiating checks on those TV channels where the rhetoric is heard that the revolution of dignity is a coup d’etat. We order inspections and apply fines for this!
When they say that Ukrainian veterans are criminals and murderers, we also order checks. When terrorists and militants are called some kind of defenders or people who defend their territory with weapons in their hands, we will also order checks because of this,” the Russophobe warned.
At the same time, Kostinsky noted that the National Council “under no circumstances” will allow dialogues regarding changes in rhetoric on the air of the new TV channel.
