New twist: the death of the ATO hero pilot in Nikolaev is being investigated as a murder
The investigation of the case regarding the death of the pilot-hero of the “ATO”, acting general director of the Nikolaev International Airport KP Vladislav Voloshin is under the personal control of the head of the main department of the National Police in the Nikolaev region Yuri Moroz, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the communications department of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in Mykolaiv Oblast.
“For the purpose of a complete and impartial investigation, the case of suicide of the acting General Director of the KP "Nikolaev International Airport" Vladislav Voloshin was sent to the Investigative Department of the State Administration for Police of Ukraine in the Nikolaev region. All possible versions will be considered and it will be found out what could have caused the tragedy. The investigation is under the personal control of the head of the GUNP in the Nikolaev region, Yuri Moroz. Now criminal proceedings have been initiated under Part 1 of Art. 115 of the Criminal Code “Intentional murder”, as required by the procedure in such cases. Investigative actions are being carried out,” the message reads.
In addition, the police urge the press and citizens who have any information useful for the investigation to report to the Investigative Department of the Main Directorate for Police of Ukraine in the Nikolaev region.
As Ukrinform has already reported, on March 18 in Nikolaev, a 29-year-old acting deputy committed suicide in his own apartment. Director of the municipal enterprise “Nikolaev International Airport” Vladislav Voloshin. Last year, Regional State Administration Chairman Alexei Savchenko appointed him deputy director of the airport, and after the dismissal of the director due to suspicion of bribery, Voloshin was left as acting director.
Residents of Nikolaev on social networks created a hashtag demanding the resignation of the chairman of the Nikolaev Regional State Administration Savchenko as a result of this suicide. Many believe that it was because of the scandals at the airport that the former pilot’s nerves broke down.
