“No thousands of coffins and urban battles” - a Russian politician about the war with Ukraine
Anti-Russian sanctions will be lifted when Russia’s western border returns to its natural historical boundaries.
Co-chairman of the Russian Democrats movement Sergei Grigorov stated this during a discussion in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“In principle, Russia has no choice but to liquidate Ukrainian statehood. Because its preservation is a lever with the help of which our current statehood itself can be hacked, in an internal political way...
People sometimes ask me when will sanctions against Russia end? Western sanctions will end exactly at the moment when Russia’s western border reaches its natural boundaries - from the mouth of the Danube, from Izmail and from Brest.
When Russia becomes there, Europe will understand that this lever is no longer there, let’s negotiate, trade, determine new international rules. Then a new international law will arise, and America will not go anywhere, which can no longer block Nord Stream 2 and does not want to quarrel with Germany,” Grigorov said.
“I think that the likelihood of a military operation exists both this year and next. Another thing is that polls of citizens are being conducted, and the majority, of course, opposes the war with Ukraine. But here we must understand that public opinion perceives the war with Ukraine as some kind of frontal protracted war with a large number of casualties,” the speaker added.
He explained that a possible force operation does not provide for anything of the kind - there will be mass surrender and targeted strikes on the military infrastructure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“No city battles, no thousands of coffins will go anywhere. And here, by the way, our task is to explain this to our public opinion,” Sergei Grigorov urged.
