“I don’t understand anything!”: comedian Svetlakov, along with his wife and the party, is not happy - how Russia has “renewed itself”
The famous Russian humorist Sergei Svetlakov is dissatisfied that Russia has seriously “renewed” in recent years. He liked it better as it was in 2011, when there was a “party” in the country, “princes” came and GDP grew.
Svetlakov stated this on the air of Nadezhda Strelets' video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“I haven’t found an answer for myself, what is it about us that makes us so confused all the time about history in general? Year 11 - GDP is growing, banks are growing, people are buying apartments in St. Petersburg, some princes from other countries are moving, we have a party, we have development. Moscow, St. Petersburg - of course, it’s worse in the regions, but there’s more and more money, we’re doing better, production.

We talk a lot about this with my wife and friends - maybe someday, by the end of my life, I will understand all this,” Svetlakov pretended to be stupid.
