Kyiv, November 17 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The Political Council of the Batkivshchyna party decided to join the Batkivshchyna faction in the coalition in the new Verkhovna Rada.

Yulia Tymoshenko stated that Batkivshchyna should "become an integral part of the coalition of democratic forces without any conditions or reservations and, together with the political forces that Ukrainian society has expressed its trust, take responsibility for the situation in the country," the party's press service reported.
As PolitNavigator reported, political analysts previously reported that Tymoshenko is vying for the post of Foreign Minister in the new Ukrainian government . Currently, the main stumbling block between the Petro Poroshenko Bloc and the People's Front remains the post of Minister of Internal Affairs.
