Careless handling of a grenade ended the lives of two Armed Forces officers
As a result of an incident during a grenade throwing class, two Ukrainian soldiers were killed and their commander was seriously injured.
Official representative of the operational command of the DPR Daniil Bezsonov spoke about this today during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In particular, he said that DPR intelligence continues to receive information about non-combat losses of the Ukrainian army in the Joint Forces Operation zone.
“The newly arrived Lieutenant Pavlovich from the 24th mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Federal University, during training in throwing RGD-5 combat grenades in the area of the Nevelskoye settlement, grossly violated the safety requirement by allowing two of his subordinates to the throwing line at once, one of whom dropped during the exercise grenade into the trench. As a result of this incident, the militant and his comrade received shrapnel wounds incompatible with life, the leader of the training, Lieutenant Pavlovich, was taken to the hospital in serious condition,” said Daniil Bezsonov.
He also added that this fact, without a doubt, will be presented by the Ukrainian command in the press center report of the Joint Forces Operation headquarters as a result of another shelling by the DPR NM.
