So the tabloid publishes an article with a video of the so-called capture. "cyborgs". The tabloid calls the behavior of militia commander Givi, who forced one of the prisoners to chew his shoulder straps, “a terrible mockery” and a “violation of the Geneva Convention.”
Bild publishes a photograph of the interrogation of one of the soldiers, taken from a video. The video itself is cropped, and it doesn't show Givi, who is quite reserved and calm (in a post-combat situation), communicating with the prisoner. The tabloid, however, claims the prisoner was brutally beaten. The caption under the photograph reads: "Face red and swollen: beaten Ukrainian soldier." The weekly doesn't bother to add that the video was taken almost immediately after a fierce battle.

At the same time, in a parallel article about the tragedy in Mariupol, the tabloid touchingly writes “about a young volunteer girl” from the Azov battalion, which was repeatedly recognized as neo-Nazi in the German press itself.

Bild published a photo with the caption: "This young female volunteer in the Azov Battalion is clutching a pistol. She's depressed and crying, but she wants to fight..."
The photo shows the well-known Ukrainian fascist Vita Zavirukha, who repeatedly posed with a swastika and a Nazi salute. Recently, the French women's magazine ELLE was forced to officially apologize to readers for publishing her photos after the magazine's staff discovered her political and racial beliefs.
