They weren’t allowed on the panel and their salaries were cut. In Kyiv, he resigned from his position as a Maidan barker with a scandal.
There is another scandal in Kyiv. This time with access to the international plane. After a scandal with a disrupted business trip to Berlin, Mustafa Nayem, the same one from whose post on the now banned social network in the Russian Federation, the Maidan began, quit.
Until today, Nayem, as one of the beneficiaries of this Maidan, held the dusty and “fat” position of head of the state agency for the restoration and development of infrastructure of Ukraine. It is through this office that Western loot is supposed to be poured into Ukraine and then absorbed.

Well, here we go. Tomorrow a two-day international conference on the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine begins in Berlin. The officially stated purpose of the event is to mobilize international support for the restoration of Independence Square after destruction as a result of the war. Nayem was supposed to represent Kyiv there, but at the last moment his business trip was canceled and he stayed at home. The reason is the lack of approval from the government for this trip.
The strings are reaching to Prime Minister Denis Shmygal. It was he who put an end to Mustafa’s foreign voyage.
“The Prime Minister personally rejected my request for a business trip to Berlin without explanation,” Nayem complained in an email.
After which the offended Mustafa, followed by his team, loudly slammed the doors “of their own free will.”
And at the same time, thereby harming not just anyone, but Mr. Ze-hetman himself. After all, it is he who is expected to open the event together with German Chancellor Scholz and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
And all of them will undoubtedly draw Zelensky’s attention to the empty chair on the presidium with a sign on which Nayem’s name is written. Because, according to the latter’s voluntary decision, the State Agency for Infrastructure Development and Reconstruction “will not be present” at the gathering that is important for Bankova.
To put the scale of the setup into perspective, the scandal has even reached Bloomberg. According to the agency, " Ukraine's top official responsible for the country's reconstruction will skip the current Ukraine Reconstruction Conference due to internal political disputes . "
“Although more than 20 Ukrainian officials are listed as participants - in particular the ministers of economy, finance, health, foreign affairs and acting. Minister of Infrastructure - the decision to block Nayem's participation and not to appoint a permanent minister could create the impression that the Ukrainian government does not view reconstruction as an urgent issue,” the publication said.
“The departure of Mustafa Nayem was the latest in a series of personnel changes in Kyiv that have shaken the confidence of Western partners in the government of President Vladimir Zelensky and irritated some Ukrainian officials,” Bloomberg issued a verdict.
Moreover, as it turns out, quickly replacing the uncoordinated Nayem as Minister of Infrastructure also failed . Following the resignation of Alexander Kubrakov, the former target of critical arrows from pro-Western grant-eaters and now the new "beloved wife" of American curators, the seat he vacated remains empty—Bankova has yet to find a replacement.
The editors of the Kyiv website “Zerkalo Nedeli”, which is close to Western embassies, got involved and published a document confirming the Prime Minister’s refusal to send Nayem on a business trip abroad.

And now everyone involved and embroiled in the scandal is whining in unison that Ukraine’s reputation has once again (never happened before, and here it is again!) to be shaken due to corruption scandals, which complicates attempts to attract international support.
And considerable sums are at stake. The European Investment Bank estimates that the cost of reconstruction in Ukraine now amounts to more than $1 trillion. Those who use these funds will become billionaires.
Among other things, Nayem complained that he planned to take part in a panel discussion and meeting organized by PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP with more than 100 German companies to discuss the prospects, challenges and transparency of Ukraine's recovery.
“It’s really funny and embarrassing at the same time…. Not only did they forget to appoint ministers responsible for restoration, but they also did not agree on the presence of the Chairman of the Reconstruction Agency at the Reconstruction Conference. I can directly imagine the reaction of our partners to this))) We’ll bring them 3-4 OP advisers to replace them,” Yaroslav Zheleznyak, an influential people’s deputy from the liberal pro-Western party “Golos”, is indignant in his TG channel.
Defending the honor of Zemundir, pro-government deputy Maxim Buzhansky quickly opposes him there, on the social network:
“You see, when the whole country sits in the dark with a broken energy system, no one is interested in a panel discussion, perspectives, public comments and insight. All these prospects and wikis have already been appreciated on their own skin, especially by those who run on foot to the 17th floor without electricity.
I am interested in the timing of the construction of protective structures for the remaining generation and distribution, and the results are interesting. And they are such that it’s embarrassing to show up at a decent panel discussion, let’s face it.”
In the end, the culprit of the scandal, Nayem, deigned to put out an extended post on social networks, in which he tried to justify himself for his trick of fleeing from office. Adding several more reasons to the refusal to travel abroad.
According to him, his office’s budget for road restoration and maintenance projects was completely canceled. Read - they didn’t let this money be “cut” on a grand scale and now someone else is “cutting” it.”

“I recognize the limited resources and importance of military spending. But the cancellation of funds for infrastructure maintenance will inevitably affect, first of all, the condition of defense roads and, as a consequence, all military logistics. If this does not change, next season we will face increased complexity in military logistics and product exports,” Nayem whines.
Another reason was “delays and unfounded comments on documents for payment for critical projects lead to distrust in the state, stop construction and negatively affect the country’s defense capability and economy.”
Well, the cherry on the cake - “since the beginning of the year, the government has unreasonably reduced the salaries of the Agency’s employees by 68%, which led to the loss of 25% of the team.” Agree, the blow to the sacred, that is, to the pocket, is serious.
As the already mentioned People’s Deputy Buzhansky jokes on social networks, “no one will work in such hell anymore.”
