The main problem of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has been named
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ruslan Khomchak believes that personnel reassignments are unable to solve the main problems within the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
He said this in an interview with Donbass.Realii.

“The assessment of the results of the audit should not be that I reappointed someone - 10-20-30 officials at different levels. The main task is not just to photograph everyone. This is not PR, this is work. The main thing is not to lose control, not to break the correct system that works, but to correct it. And this does not mean that everyone should be fired. And, if someone doesn’t understand me and doesn’t change relationships - at all levels, as they should happen - of course, there will be personnel decisions,” Khomchak said.
According to him, one of the main problems in the Armed Forces of Ukraine is “unhealthy relationships” between military personnel.
“The problem that I see is the problem of relations in military groups. We gathered deputy commanders for moral and psychological support... Those who should know all the problems that their subordinates live with. Today I understand that there are some shortcomings here... When a soldier has a problem or sees a problem, or a violation, and does not go to his commander to report it, but calls volunteers or someone else, and in order to solve it, you need to “go upstairs” so that this issue can be resolved “from above” . .. As I understand it, there are unhealthy relationships in the team, they need to be changed,” Khomchak said.
On May 21, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky dismissed Chief of the General Staff - Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko and appointed Ruslan Khomchak instead.
