NATO is afraid to take responsibility for troubled Ukraine
Ukraine's entry into NATO will dramatically undermine the security of all of Europe.
Minsk military expert Alexander Alesin stated this on the Belarusian television channel ONT, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to the expert, given that Ukraine has territorial claims against Russia and an armed conflict in part of the country, NATO countries will have to sort this out.
“Ukraine’s accession will dramatically undermine the security of all of Europe. And in general, NATO will have to answer for all Ukrainian affairs. Why is NATO so reluctant to accept members who have internal problems, civil conflicts and territorial disputes with neighbors? Ukraine has a huge territorial dispute over Crimea. Europe does not recognize Crimea as Russian and neither do most countries. That is, Ukraine has claims to the return of Crimea.
First of all, this is information pressure on Russia. Russia is very nervous about this prospect. I will say this - there are two red lines that are vitally important, existentially important for Russia - these are Belarus and Ukraine. Because if the NATO bloc expands to these limits, the flight time to Moscow and the central industrial region will be from 15 to 20 minutes or even less,” Alesin said.
